I see Esther moments!
Like in the day of Esther we are approaching moments of amazing victory. If we believe, we can participate in their unfolding before they come. One such moment is coming for us, we call them Esther Moments. These are times of convergence in the midst of conflict where we see darkness set back by radical exposure of events. These are watershed events when the tide of evil is set back and humiliated.
If you are familiar with Esther you will already know the details of this kind of event. In her day evil was rising in the form of a man infused with colossal hatred. While he plotted to destroy God’s people, Esther saw the tables turned and all of his devices came upon himself. This does not happen all the time, nor does it happen by accident, but is the result of people who believe and pray, ‘Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven’.
In the case of Esther there was explicit obedience knit with faith. Which is to say, both Esther and those alive at that time, had choices. The choice was to speak and act, or remain silent. Her cousin, aware of the plot, prophetically warns her while calling her to action.
“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” – Esther 4:14
As it happened she discerned her time and arose to the occasion. Likewise the Esther Company will also rise in their day both speaking and believing.
At this very time faith is rising in God’s people to unlock the provision of the Holy Spirit. This kind of faith can open heaven’s governmental administration for us. As a result we will see a series of unlikely and fortunate events in our favour. These are moments where we taste God’s goodness, and see darkness turned on itself, exposing the full breadth of it’s folly. It means vindication and celebration for the faithful.
You can believe for this in your own life right now. It will mean an uncanny convergence of impossible circumstances confounding and exposing darkness. There is a capacity in the Holy Spirit, not fully realized, which will surprise even the faithful. So we say Father in Heaven release your angels, release your Holy Spirit in His fulness. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done!
