Protesting war is like protesting forest fires. It is an empty gesture. What we ought to be doing is focus on preventing ‘war’ in the same way we approach preventing forest fires. After all, I do not know anybody who is ‘for’ war any more we than we are ‘for’ forest fires. The protest against war suggests there is a group somewhere against peace? Quite ridiculous really! GIVING honour can be it’s own reward. However, sometimes there’s a financial treasure to be gained—or lost! Here’s a recent story that caught my attention underscoring the occasional cost of dishonour.
The Holy Spirit is speaking in the theme of ‘undermining dishonor’. In preparation for widespread increases in glory and a new authority for His people, He is teaching us to steward what is coming. It begins with proper honor. God cannot endanger His children by extending power to those who will use it against each other.
